Through the course of the 2010 federal election, Vibewire, YouTube and a team of enthusiastic reporters, editors and interns worked together to produce fresh analysis of Australian politics. After a very speedy training period, the electionWIRE reporters started producing stories about the election. They travelled to marginal seats, they met candidates across the country, they talked to young people about the issues that mattered to them -- and made great media which broke with the conventions set by the big media players.

This archival site exists to showcase the hard work and great content that was produced during the project, as well as to provide insight into the learning that went into it for all involved. It's an excellent case study of the (something) outcomes that accompany innovative and collaborative youth media projects. Enjoy!
